does really NGOs work for non-profit

The queastion which i am asking for myself since i got to know the social sector and the agencies working for the betterment of the society. DOES REALLY NGOs WORK FOR NON-PROFIT? GOs, NGOs, CSRs & number of other agencies from all the way trying to show that they care for people from mirginilise, disadvante, depressed, disaster affected section/ group in the society. But, Does they really works for them? some says YES, some might say NO. which option is right and which is wrong? this question is limited with the person who belive in either side.

my experience to working in NGOs (Private Sector) sector says, "NO". there is not a single such organisation which run on non-profit base. The NGOs emerges with Vision, Mision & Objective, but of What? the vision to be rich person in the society, the mision of misguding people in the name of helping and the Objective to exploiting resources for their own sake.

one can say, that what happen if the founder of NGOs, gaining some amount of money, by investing some amount of money in the society? true! very true!! but how much amount they really invest for the society. Why? Why the NGOs sector emerged? to fill the gap between GOs & the people. to help in reaching the schems and programme upto the last person in the society. but the moto and the vision of these sector somewhere diverting towards the money making industries for own sake. It may hurting, but is the bitter truth which i seen while working with NGOs.

Today, there is everywhere curroption in each of the Govt. department. And therefore, the schemes and program do not rich upto the people of the society. what will happen if the NGOs also do work on the same line which Govt. fellow follow the way of curroption and money making way?

This is the big question of concern.
